This set has sound but no video, no OSD also. HV is present and tubes
light up, when I turn screens up. I am considering replacing Jungle IC
TA1222BN. Does anyone have any suggestions before I replace this chip?

Open resistor on the ABL line, pretty common. Little 1/8 watt job,
look at the schematic on the bottom side of the flyback going back to
the abl line.

Have you checked for clock\data line activity and source voltages and signals
on this chip? There are way too many places to lose video on a TV of this
type.

Agreed. I'd do some basic troubleshooting before assuming the chip. If you
have deflection and HV it is likely working.
