TV turns to standby after falling of bed

Hi,

One week ago my TV fell of my bed, making a turn of 90 degrees and 40cm.
Now the TV turns in standby mode after choosing a channel, I don't have any
picture anymore.
Anyone maybe knows what is defective?

It's a 62cm Panasonic TV(5 years old).

Tnx in advance

Most likely a circuit board is cracked. Often around the line output
transformer. From your question, I take it you don't have much
experience in electronics repair? Also, you could turn to
nl.hobby.elektronica for advice in Dutch, and maybe find someone in your
neighbourhood that can have a look at it for you.

Something physically broke, probably the circuit board.

You were sleeping with your 27 inch TV? :)

You'll have to get a professional to look at it. Could be relatively
simple. But could also be not worth fixing.

It sounds like the circuit board in the set may be damaged, or something is
mechanically broken. You will have to send out the set for proper service,
unless you are experienced at this type of repair.

Why were you in bed with your TV set??? Interesting...

For some sets the IR remote sensor is on a plug/skt
fly lead. Something may have got dislodged or come
unplugged.
