Default Future Service at Panasonic NV-F65

Hello, I have two Video Panasonic NV-F65.
I like to keep them in working order for years to come, since I beleve
that good working VCR will become rare in a near future.

I want yours advice on buying Service kit now or to wait till them fail.
Do you beleve i must buy a Video Head "just in case" ?
