| Nuts & Volts is so far strong, hopefully it continues. They cater to the
| robotics crowd but have a lot of other coverage and a fair amount of
| advertising support. It's one of the few places where I find the
| advertisements to be useful and worthwhile too, neat electronics gadgets
and
| surplus, not the stupid comodities advertised everywhere else.

There's also Ciarcia's Circuit Cellar http://www.circuitcellar.com/ and
there was Midnight Engineering but I think it may have died. There were
specialist TV servicing mags but they started dying long ago - "Electronics
World" (USA) esp. being very missed by me.

Lucek,

While not specifically aimed at repair, Elector Electronics is
published in several European countries, and has some excellent
construction articles. They've even had some on building test
equipment.

"Electronic Servicing & Technology" was great and it went belly up !

I subscribed for years than one day they were late delivering, then very
late, then nothing.....
