Help- with JVC 32" CTV
Have a JVC model AV32120. Problem with secondary voltages. Doesn't switch
on. Any leads would be appreciated. Changed STR6626 and 1000mfd 35V. No change. Thanx in advance |

First, STR-F6626 must be OEM.

Not true at all. We fix these sets with "generic" ICs all the time. I have
compared several "originals" from JVC with the generic ones and found no differences at all in operating parameters including temperature. You have to be very thorough in troubleshooting these power supplies, but there is not a problem with using generic STR-F6626 ICs from a reputable supplier. Leonard "Robert" wrote in message ...
