I have a Fica motherboard(pt-2006) which I wanted to upgrade to 128mb.The
owners manual says it is possible. The memory is Edo simm(72pin). Originally it had 32mb. I purchased two 64mb cards which I installed and the bios(Or control panelsystem) shows I have 48mb. The simm sockets(4) had four 8mb originally.I installed according to manual instructions.I left two 8mb cards in that were there and added two new ones(supposedly 64mb each) but the system shows them as being 16mb. Are my cards not really 64mb or is there a problem? I purchased them from Tigerdirect. I also tried just leaving the new(64mb) cards in bank 0 and removing the original 8mb ones and the system still shows only 32mb total memory. I purchased them for $24.99. Thanks guys. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
