I see a few internet services offering subscriptions for this mag. I
thought this mag was dead. At one time it was a great magazine, but a
couple of years ago I canceled my subscription because the publisher
refused to ship. Has anything changed?

No: to my knowledge, my subscription terminated when they stopped publishing
and shipping the magazine, even though they considered me as being a charter
member with pre-paid subscription fees. They were rather a nice concise
publication specifically directed to the service and experimentation segment
of the market. Service meaning most of the"professional technicians" of that
period, experimentation meaning those who needed a source of good, viable
information considering consumer electronics and their inner workings. Too
bad ther sucumed to the nominal flow of demise.
