Awia Audio System- Need Schematic
Howdy;
I'm working on an Awia CX-NDS15U CD/Tape/Reciever entertainment system. The problem is, System will run fine with the volume all the way down. if you increase the vol. above 12, the unit powers down within 3 seconds. You have to wait about a minute before she'll let you turn it on again. It may run a while longer at lower volumes (I ran it for 1/2 hr without a shutdown at volume 5) Does not matter if speakers are in circuit or not. It behaves the same. There are 2 2SB1370's on the main heatsink that get hot quickly. If I spray them with freeze the unit will keep running until the heat up again. I really need a schemo on this to see what these 2 guys do. Their collectors and emitters are are paralelled together. I've check for bad or leaky components on that board, but have turned up nothing. The owner's hot for having his stereo back, so I'd appreaciate any help with this unit. Much thanks, Rick |
