Sony KV-27TS27 very dark with no sound
This set was brought to me with very soft audio, though I didn't actually
power it up, I replaced the MPX module which obviously needed it, it was badly corroded, and now the picture starts out very bright but quickly fades to almost black and there's no audio at all. Anyone run into anything like this before? |

Sony KV-27TS27 very dark with no sound
What about resoldering the if coils inside the if can (mandatory when
getting inside this set) and the grounds and pins inside the tuner, also mandatory? Does the A/V inputs work ok with good sound and picture? If so then the problem is clearly in the tuner/if stages.
