Default odd problem with sony kv27exr25

hi again,

odd problem with sony kv27exr25 . on soft start (video) may come on

immediatly or 5 min later. all voltages check ok.It may cycle off and
on(video) sound o.k. hi volt. ok It is instantious. pix tube fil volt ok

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Do a Google groups search for Sony AKB video blanking.
Problem is a weak picture tube and the AKB circuit cannot properly
compensate for the age on the tube.

Right, tube is weak. You can turn up the screen control a little to help the
problem, but the picture will be poor due to the weak tube.
