This is an old repair which we didn't succeed very well to repair.
Well, the machine contained several problems and we solved all but
one.
And that is, during FF and REW, the tape speed will reduce greatly
when the tape comes near the ends. At some point, it will actually
stop. We replaced the normal stuff like belts, clutchunit, but without
success. Could the capstan motor be bad, or is this actually caused by
dried up electrolytes in the power supply?
All other functions performs well.
I would be nice to solve this problem finally...
