Ok, first of all, please don't lynch me for asking this.

I have a Sony TV that is a little sick at the moment and would wander
if anyone has a serivce manual for it they could e-mail to me, or even
send me a link to download it. The model number is kv-x2521u.

I don't mind buying one, and surely will if I have no luck here.

You may not have much luck finding a downloadable service manual here, but
if you post the problems and symptoms and be certain to include your
preliminary basic troubleshooting results and the observations of your
technical tests, component testing and voltage readings..... there are many
techs on this newsgroup that might be able to offer useful repair
suggestions for you.
If you spend a little search time at the website for this newsgroup at
http://www.repairfaq.org/
you will find a wealth of troubleshooting tips, repair procedures, component
testing methods and IMPORTANT safety information that will help you to stay
away from dangerous and lethal electrical shock hazards inside your
television..... note that these hazards may still be present even when the
television is turned off and unplugged from the AC power.... be very
careful.
If, after reading through the repairfaq website you still are not certain
how to proceed, you might be best advised to physically TAKE your television
to a service shop for a proper and safe repair or at the very least a repair
cost estimate so you can make an intelligent repair decision with facts
instead of internet or telephone guesses.
