Default Panasonic TX-29AD1DP faulty degauss circuit

Hello All,

I have a Panasonic tv (model TX-29AD1DP) with a faulty degauss circuit. Does
anyone know how I could distinguish which is the degauss circuit?

I posted this fault a little while ago and someone (I think its was someone
named Alain Beguin but can't remember) told me how to identify the degauss
circuit, but unfortunately the message timed off the newsgroup before I
could print or note down the email address of the person and ask how to
correctly identify the circuit.

Also, does anyone know where to buy the replacement components in the uk?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike Smith:
Have you tried any of your search engines to obtain answers to your
questions?
In the website for this newsgroup at
http://www.repairfaq.org/
there is a wealth of information, troubleshooting tips, repair procedures...
etc.... but it will take some search time on your part.
In that site there is pertinent information regarding your degauss circuit
questions.....
http://repairfaq.ece.drexel.edu/sam/tvnew.htm#tvdegacrt
If you still have more questions do a google group archive search with
specific key words that are found in the subject line of your posting.
Most questions that you may have probably have already been answered by
someone else repair experience..... plan to spend some of your search time
to find the answers.
