CD player won't play track 1
I have a Fisher "Studio Standard" home sound system with a tuner, amp,
mixer, double casette deck, and CD player -- all as separate modules. Everything functions except the CD player (Model AD913), and it does ok except it rarely will play track 1. It generally reads all other tracks fine, but sometimes stalls on those too. A cleaning CD doesn't fix the problem. Took the cabinet top off and the optical sensor (or whatever it's called) moves incrementally each time the track selector button is pushed, so it appears it is positioning as it should. I'm a ham and willing to tackle technical suggestions. Thanks. Eric |
