I have a 4 year old Toshiba X81 series RPTV that has always had a
small problem with convergence in the upper right corner of the screen. The red horiz lines on the grid curve up while the red vert lines curve out, almost as if the upper right corner of the red gun is being "pulled out" an inch or two. Is this caused by a problem in the deflection yoke. The red gun was recently replaced for another reason, but the problem was the same before and after the gun itself was replaced. The red is just fine in the other 3 corners, and the green and blue don't have the problem at all. Focus is fine in all parts of the screen. Ron |
