What is the voltage on P11 of the channel selector U1000?
Does it vary with the tuning?
Very often the channel selector has to be replaced

Channel search indication exists? If exist, check/replace zener 33V.
Resolder tuner (inside).

Could be, the 24C02, but first check the tuner :-)if your remote
control works probably the main processor will be ok.
The 24C02 stores the stations. But if your tuning voltage does not vary
it will probably be the tuner.
