Remote for Curtis Mathes TV
My brother lost his remote for his Curtis Mathes TV (I think it is a combo
TV/VCR). The model number is CMC13003 and was made in the year 2000. Does anyone know where he can buy an original or a universal the will work and do most of the functions? I have check all over the web and can't seem to find very much for Curtis Mathes. Does anyone know who made this model for Curtis Mathes? Thanks for any help, Larry |

There is a company that specializes in universal remotes called
Universal Electronics. They make the One-For-All (sold at Wal-Mart) brand and the Radio Shack brand plus a bunch of others and they would probably put your name on one of their remotes if you paid them enough money . . . Point being is that manuals for these remotes are on-line and you can see if your model is in there before you pop the bubble pack. Here is the manual for my Radio Shack $15 special: http://www.radioshack.com/ProdSuppor...=15787&T= htm look at the codes in there. Here is another link: http://www.oneforall-int.com/comfiles/index2.html Curtis Mathis was the last TV manufacturer in the US "And darn well worth it." "Larry" wrote in message ... Pretty certain that is a Daewoo made in Korea Curtis Mathes branded tv set.
There should be a phone number in the back of the owners manual to call. Since he lost the remote odds are he does not have the manual any longer??? David Larry wrote in message ...
