Default Schematics

Anyone have any tips on finding a schematic? I have an NEC AUA-7000E
amplifier that needs repair. The only info I have on the amp is the model
number and CSA file number. The CSA website doesn't have a listing for this
file number, and there is no FCC ID.

Can anyone help?

Steve

Steve Mackie:
Most of the techs on this newsgroup, most of the time, fix this stuff
WITHOUT hard to find and expensive schematics. The good news is that on
stereo equipment there is a redundant channel with identical circuitry and
usually the same failure does not happen to both channels at the same time
so you have a good basis of comparison for troubleshooting purposes....
Post your technical troubleshooting results, DMM voltage readings and
component test results, visual observations, symptoms, etc.... the more
detailed the information you provide and the more technical it is, the
better and more specific will be the repair suggestions you get.
