JEDEC for technicians
JEDEC seems to be into memory specs these days and no longer into basic
semiconductor devices. There was a time when JEDEC and PRO ELECTRON held some sway over part numbers and such. JEDEC seems to still be into semiconductor device package standards, however. 4N and 6N part numbers are out there. They seem to be beyond the old JEDEC system and relate to opto-couplers. Is there an expanded/updated version of the 1N, 2N, 3N JEDEC system? |

A 2Nxxxx number could be a transistor of either polarity, a J-FET or a bloody triac!!! ...... Phil |
