Telephone hook switch noise
I have a Chinese made telephone with a hook switch that is generating a ton
of noise. Disassembly revealed a DPDT switch made by having the top of U shaped phosphor bronze contact springs sliding along the sides of tin/silver coated brass contact tabs. I have given it thorough clean and need to know what, if any, lubricant should be used on the contacts before I reassemble it. Help appreciated, John. |
