Default CTC187 revisited

Made another attempt at this pesky thing tonight after sitting on it for
ages. Came to me with hourglass distortion, fixed that but the picture is
still too wide and some faint retrace lines are visible. C4403 has been
replaced, IIRC I ordered the actual RCA part, marked .55J250. The other two
blue brick caps in the pin circuit test good, and CR4403 is fine as well.
What else should I look at? All the info I've found points to parts I've
already checked or replaced.

Quick followup. I found a bad filter cap on the B+, replaced that and no
difference. Voltage is spot on at 140V with the set operating. Picture is
too large in both directions judging by the OSD.

Faint retrace lines, especially of one color, MAY be the Jungle IC. I
had a lot of them go..looks like a bad CRT. Check the voltages on the
red, green, & blue wires from the CRT PCB by the Jungle IC. I'm sure
you know this, but maybe B + is high (pix too big all sides), or maybe
someone "tweaked" the EEPROM. Dani.
