Hi
I have a Sony KV35V36 TV that has only about 10KV for high voltage, do I
need a nesw flyback?

Possibly, but I would look elsewhere first. What's the B+ voltage? Bad
capacitors are common.

B+ should measure apx 130VDC, suggest checking the supply voltages and
horiz drive. If you have the ability, desolder the LOPT and run a ringing
test. However from the lack of diagnostics and information we presume there
may be problems else where in the set.
