i looked in the full repair manual for the SA CH170 (not 75) and there is no
reference to error codes in the trouble shooting flow chart or elsewhere for
that one.

"F61" is a generic Panasonic code applied to many of their models, and
normally indicates 'abnormality with the output stage', which in practice
usually means that there is DC on the output due to a faulty output hybrid,
some of which are very expensive.

connector.
