Do you mean digital?

Below a certain size, one cannot make a display "HD", or at least it is
ineffective.

This is the only one I know of (although it's only 1/4 SD resolution).
It's funny that a cheap house brand makes one when the high tech
companies like Sony, and Panasonic don't.

I did mean HD...I had assumed that the digital receivers would be
available but it raises the question..."where are they?"

Interesting...I did not know that Best Buy had that available.

I suspect that you don't see the big boys selling them is because of
profit margins.

I just noticed the "100 minutes" run time...who are they kidding?

Also note the lack of inputs...like no digital cable!

I wouldn't put it past BB to be selling it *over* suggested retail price.

They are, for now, mostly a home-theater specialty item. By mid/late
next year, they should become a commodity CE item. That is for a basic
set-top tuner.

As for a portable HD-TV, they can only make display elements so small,
and keep within the cost expectations of a portable TV.
