Mitsubishi VS4504CA problem
I'm still trying to get my 4504 to turn on and stay on . I've replaced
about 10 bad caps on the power supply board and main board . These were ones that were noticeably leaky .I don't have an ESR meter .I got a manual for it and have been trying to solve the problem . I found some info about the V10 power supplys on the net and followed the instructions for checking the various components . As far as I can tell they seem to be ok .I seem to get all the voltages (some are a little high) I replaced the 130 volt regulator thinking it was bad at first.I get the 130 volts on the power supply. So I thought it might be the horizontal output transistor causing the power supply to shut down .So I pulled it out and checked the PN junctions in it and thought it was bad . But the new one read the same , so I'm assuming they are different inside from a regular transistor. Replaced it anyway but still no luck. The relay on the power supply board clicks on and than right back off again when you try to turn the set on .So if anyone might be able to try to steer me in the right direction for what to check next , I would appreciate it . |
