Default Sony KV32-FX60U Television Issue

Hi Folks,

Have a Sony KV32-FX60U Television Issue here, as you can see by the picture
its collapsing inward with a narrow screen, and slight curves inwards,
anyone seen this before?

Binary files or attachements will not show in this group.

By your description, the fault must be in the pin amp. This is usually
caused by electrolytic capacitors in your set going high in ESR. It is
best to check these with an ESR meter, and replace the defective parts.
On some occasions, I have also seen other types of components in the
pin amp section have failures.

If you are not experienced at doing TV service, I suggest you give the
set to a service centre for proper and safe servicing.

Just called a couple of places locally, they say it`s the microprocessing
unit in the tv , hmm........the repair probably aint as easy as i thought
lol

I think you should call the authorized Sony service center near to you.
About 95% of the time, I have had worn capacitors in the pin amp
section of TV sets cause the fault you are describing.

With proper troubleshooting, the defective parts can be located, and
then changed.
