Sony Service Menu
How do I access the service menu on a Sony KV-20S10? I tried the usual
PWR-ENTER-5-VOL+-PWR but it won't access it. -- To reply via Email, remove NOSPAM from the address |

Sony Service Menu
Not sure if this will work for your TV or not.. It's for a slightly
different SONY TV 1. Standby mode. (Power Off) 2. DISPLAY -- 5 -- VOL(+) -- POWER on the Remote Commander (Press each button within a second) I take NO responsibility for any damage or loss of productivity for supplying this information to you or anyone who reads this. With the set turned off, press and hold it while turning the set on. It will operate exactly the same way as newer Sony's in service mode. Andy Cuffe |

Sony Service Menu
On the series of set you have, Disply, 5, Vol+, PWR should do it. Press Mute, Enter, to save your damage. Take care, that many of the adjustments require the proper test facilities to properly calibrate. Only a small number of them are done visualy. There are no default settings. These values are adjusted to the particular set's characteristics. Some settings can actualy go out of range, thus making the set non accessable any more. The set would require proper shop service to get it working again. The service adjustments are factory set, and should not have to be modified after manufacture unless critical parts have been replaced. If your set has a fault and was working before, then proper service should be done to repair the problem. Jerry G. -- Chris F. wrote: How do I access the service menu on a Sony KV-20S10?
