Default philips gr1ax chassis problems

Hi,

PHILIPS GR1AX CHASSIS.

Set has standby light on when powerEd up from cold. it can be brought
out of standby with remote, the LED goes out but set remains as before
- 'dead' - there is no HV, deflection, audio etc.

checked HOT - ok.
with HOT removed, conencted bulb c-e - nothing.
measured voltage c-e in standby and when 'on' - 0v.

Don't have a schematic, have come to dead end, any ideas?
cheers, B.
