RCA CTC203 - deguass relay clicks
Hi, I have an F36649yx51 that won't turn on. When power button is pressed the deguass relay clicks 5 to 7 times and that's all. I checked the voltage at the collector of the HOT Q14401 and it was normal @ 140v. I connected a light bulb in series between the collector of the HOT and the flyback - it lit up and the relay clicked twice (normal) and the power light stayed on but no HV. I've replaced the flyback transformer T14401 - no change When I unplug the CRT driver board there is no change. I plugged the CRT driver board back in and disconnected the filament on pin 10 and the power light stays on. I don't know what to do next. Has anybody had any experience with this failure before? Regards, Siggy |

Have you already removed, cleaned, and repaired the glue contaminated connections to the coil on the base of the HOT? |

Regards, Siggy If this model have PIP feature (easily identified by looking at the stand up module with A/V inputs) have large IC in the metal shield. With LM317 regulator for 3.3V on steel heatsink at one corner. Look at adjust pin of this LM317 for 2 SMD resistors. Resolder this SMD two resistors. Cheers, Wizard |
