Default 50" Hitachi TV.

Got a call for M # 50UX57B Chassis # AP 83R. Dead, plug unit in,
little pop in
speakers, then red led flashes once. Anything common?

Default 50" Hitachi TV.

Shorted C707 near the flyback. Shorted convergence output. Shorted H
output. All pretty common on that chassis. Download the info from the
Hitachi site. They have excellent info in addition to the service manuals
available free to any shop that signs up with them.
