Default Phillis 32pw6515/05 tv

When turning on it turns green, when i use my sky guide it turns back
to normal, this has been happening for quiet a while and now it
starting to go blank and flipping back to picture then blank! ,after a
small period of time.
So does anyone know if it's the tube needing replaced, is this very
expensive and cost effective?.
Have had the TV for 6 years so good innings so far.

Thanks in advanced.
