Default Possible fix: Norton Ghost error 36000 processor general exception

I've now seen two mother boards get this error when running Norton Ghost.
In both of the cases, the problem turned out to be a faulty CPU chip - one
a Pentium 3 850MHz, and the other a Celeron 2.2GHz. For verification, I
Moved the CPU chips to other motherboards, and the problem follows the
chips. I figured I'd post this so it'd be archived for someone else's use.
