20" Toshiba tv model:CF2055A,chassis:TAC-9141,Sams 2987
20" Toshiba stereo tv (with 1 set of RCA input jacks & 1 set of audio
output jacks) model:CF2055A ,chassis:TAC-9141,Sams 2987,UL Listed:216V (Made in USA). When the tv is first plugged in & turned on in a long time there is an arc from the HV flyback rubber anode at the crt and the tv shuts off, when power button is pressed all you get is relay click and 164v at the HOT's collector but if you wait more than a minute and press power button you get hv for a second. I replaced CE12=33Uf,250v in the standby area and checked IC301=AN5515 & R327=5.0 ohms,1/2 watt.I removed the flyback's HV anode and also the crt board but still no go. Anyone have any common repair tips for me?.Thanks in advance. For tons of free service manual downloads, repair tips, service bulletins and mo http://www.schematicsforfree.mattsoft.net http://schematicsforfree.mattsoft.net/ http://schforfree.seedhost.com then click on "click here to see the files" Also: http://www.vancebaldwin.com then at the bottom left click on "guest login" then on the top left "model #" then in the middle of the screen click on "consumer electronics" followed by selecting the brand name and typing in the model then follow through then if an exploded parts view is available on the left screen click on it as that would be the link to the free service manual download.
