GE 31" TV problem
TV is a 1995 (approx) GE 31" model number F31700GG (not sure what the
chasis # is) Sympton = no picture, squiggly horizontal lines running across the entire area of the tube with about 3-4" between each one. In quick discussion with local TV repair over the phone, mention of a faulty "pinch tube" ? Can anyone confirm the possibility of this diagnosis, provide another, or suggest next steps ? (p.s. in line with disposable electronics, a repair cost exceeding $100 would mean this puppy goes to the recycle depot) |
