Default Audiovox Sirius PNPSR2 radio

I bought the lifetime membership to the SIRIUS radio and have been reading
that it only applies to the life of the radio not my life. So I bought
another used one that is the same make and model. Does anyone have any
experience on if there is a ROM chip or something that I can swap out of the
old broken one and into the new used one. Mine hasn't broken yet but I want
to be prepared. I have had it for about 3 years and so far it works fine.
But if it dies in 10 years I will have a plan on how to get it running
again. I have no idea on how this thing works but I am going to buy another
use one and take it apart to try and see what makes it tick. Anyone know
how it works and how to save the brain for a transplant?
Thanks
Russ

You're best bet is to look on "hacking" forums.
There are many people who love decoding how hardware and software work.
Contrary to popular belief, lots of hackers are not just a bunch of
criminals looking to steal others' information or plant viruses.

I think you can swap radios up to three times for a lifetime account.

Each time is $75.00. I don't think you can swap out ROM Chips.

You might want to go to http://www.siriusbackstage.com/ and ask them.
