troubleshooting a mitsubishi dvd player....dd-4030.... no power no
litghts no display no schematics......where do I start..any known
problem with these ? thanks

there, with some search time, you will find a wealth of repair
proceedures, troubleshooting tips, and IMPORTANT safety information.
Then dust off your DMM and start troubleshooting, testing components,
and checking voltage readings..... a lot can be done without a
schematic in hand.
If you are still not certain how to proceed then you might be best
advised to TAKE your DVD player to a service shop, for at the very
least, a repair cost estimate so you can make an intelligent repair
decision with facts instead of internet wild guesses.
