Pic drifting 45 deg up to the left and becomes misconv. Hitachi 55FX20B
Hi,
I have this one, Doesn't respond to mechanical prodding, very intermittent. The fault is described as a image gradually moving up and to the left in diagonal direction (45 deg). The convergence drifts apart as pic moves like rotating a portable 3 tube projector. Checked the metal box (convergence generator) for bad SMD cap, solder connections but I'm still stumped. It looks like one of convergence voltage is drifting? Is the + voltage for the left & top and - voltage for right & bottom? If so, Would that one of - voltage intermittently drifting away? It didn't look like convergence was distorting, it was moving together as one. Cheers, Wizard |
