KP46S15 help

I have a sony kp46s15 projection set that does not power up. From searches
on the web and troubleshooting, I've found the 2 rectifier diodes for +/-
15V are shorted on the G board (p/s). There are also recommendations to
replace the STKs, but the fuses were not blown, so should I?
