![]() "kenmooresbc" ) writes: so no one wants it ? You've posted your ad to an international newsgroup. THus while you've forced us to see it, you aren't reaching an audience where there may be a high percentage of takers, ie locals. For that matter, it's not obvious where you are, and that will have impact on whether anyone is interested. In order for there to be someone interested, you need to find a group of people who want it, and will bother to take it. You'd be far better off finding your local buy and sell newsgroup and post there, because then you at least guarantee that the people seeing the post will be able to come over and get it. Probably lots of people would be happy to take it and see if
they could get it working good again, there's just no one living close enough to you. kenmooresbc wrote: so no one wants it ? -- http://www.geocities.com/vintagejapmotorcycleshop/ Inty wrote in message ... Call your local Salvation Army or Goodwill and have them come and haul it
off. Amazing how many electronic repair hobbyists hit those stores looking for stuff like this... "kenmooresbc" wrote in message news ![]() the tv has a rolling problem and the picture pushes to one side some times |

Maybe your area is different, but goodwill and salvation army
stopped taking non-working items around here years ago. They don't have the expertise or space to fix them, or the extra money to junk the non working stuff. dig154 wrote: Call your local Salvation Army or Goodwill and have them come and haul it off. Around here they won't even take working stuff anymore unless it's reasonably modern and in good cosmetic condition. |
