Toshiba big screen has red flashing power light. Why?
I have a Toshiba cinema series hd ready set that will not cut on. If you try
to cut it on, all you get is the red power light starts flashing. If you reboot the power the set comes on with no problem. The picture and sound are great, but the tv has to be rebooted to start it. The problem was random at first but now it's everyday. Jim |

There is a problem that one of the many protect circuits are detecting
on power on. Get it fixed now before you have more parts fail and will cost more to repair. There are too many different protect circuits and circuits being monitored to know the cause of the failure without some serious troubleshooting time in the set when it is acting up. |

Or at least a model and chassis number, too many Toshiba Cinema models to
even hazard a viable guess. wrote in message oups.com... There is a problem that one of the many protect circuits are detecting on power on. You are best to get it serviced before more damage occurs. Some components
in the protection circuits, or in the scans and or power supply sections may be failing. Using the set the way it is, will most likely raise the end cost of servicing. -- JANA _____ "Jim & Ellen" wrote in message ... I have a Toshiba cinema series hd ready set that will not cut on.
