TV powers on fine. All channels are snowy. Lower channels are snowy,
and higher channels are snowy and scrambled.? TV will play video game
systems fine, (in VID mode). When auto programmed, tv catches no
channels. Iknow its tuner trouble, so what components should I be
checking?? Thanks for your help and time Dano

Check the power supplies to the tuner and check for bad solder connections.
IIRC Thomson has a pretty good description of how the circuit works in the
training manual, but the tuner for this set is inexpensive.
