dad.


I was working in a shop doing radio & TV repairs at 13, but was busy
learning to repair early solid state junk built with leaky germanium
transistors. Some GE crap was so bad that you had to change the bias
resistors when you put in a new transistor. What a shock to see the
first Motorola Quasar TVs built with decent semis!
