Over the last couple of years we lost everybody but Missy and, on top of our own sense of loss, watching her wonder where everybody had gone, (even though she didn't care all that much for them when they were here) one after the other, was very sad. So, after they were all gone, (except for Missy) and some time went by, we decided to sparingly repopulate the house with cats and went down to the pound to save a life. As soon as we walked into the "cat room", a little Siamese kitty at the far end of the room saw us and started making such a commotion jumping onto the cage wall and screaming at the top of his voice that I knew that kitty wanted us to be his. So we did the paperwork and after the pound got ahold of our vet (ostensibly to find out if we were cat-eaters or something like that) and we paid Monty's bail, we brought him home and introduced him to Missy. Missy immediately went dominant, being on her own turf and Monty acquiesced, being a 3 month old kitty. Things have changed since Missy now weighs about 6 pounds and Monty weighs about 14, but that's another story. Then, a few months ago, one of the volunteers at my wife, Gail's, hospital told her that she had found a cat roaming around an apartment complex, had taken it in, and would Gail be interested in providing a home for it. We now have three cats. :-) -- JF |

I just thought the guy was a total wacko troll but what do I know, I am new around here. Besides, I might end up filtering someone that could help, just like you said. He's probably designed dozens of linear ICs that you've used. Being a little whacko is an occupational requirement for electronic design. Ideas don't just leap out of textbooks, you know. John |
