How do they put the proper port number in Eudora for that specific email account? In 7.1.0.9 it's the very last icon in Tools/Options. I have 7.1.0.9 Paid Mode and the very last icon in Tools|Options is "Find Messages". The ones before it have nothing to do with SMTP or its ports. [snip] That's odd. I have EP v7.1.0.9 Paid also. See attachment if this group allows. My OS is WinXP Pro v5.1 SP2 Wonder if that matters? I use XP Pro V5.1 SP2 and EP V7.1.0.9 Paid version but in my Tools/Option Category list I don't see Logging, Task/Error windows, F.A.S. Prefs, Threading, or Ports as shown on your list. |

Turns out that I did something so long ago I forgot... 1) Close Eudora 2) From directory Eudora/extrastuff copy esoteric.epi to the directory where Eudora.exe is located 3) Restart Eudora 4) You will now have the extra features ...Jim Thompson -- | James E.Thompson, P.E. | mens | | Analog Innovations, Inc. | et | | Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC's and Discrete Systems | manus | | Phoenix, Arizona Voice480)460-2350 | | | E-mail Address at Website Fax480)460-2142 | Brass Rat | | http://www.analog-innovations.com | 1962 | America: Land of the Free, Because of the Brave |
