Default Radiator Shelves/Brackets

I have found the folloiwng technique works well and avoids the need for
visble brackets etc.

Route a rebate onto the edge of a 2x1" batten thus:

Route a half inch wide groove into the underside of the shelf thus:

___| |_________________________/


Screw battern loosly to wall just above rad, apply some glue and mount
the shelf, then do up the screws:
