I still hike and backpack (and now snowboard too), so I still need to fight
the occasional blister. Does anyone know of a better blister protector that
stays on the way the original Moleskins would?

Duct tape. Seriously, it works well. Not as comfy as
moleskin, but it does stay put. OTH, I haven't had a
blister hiking since I switched to leather/nylon/Goretex
boots.
