and then I saw a
bunch of Sealer's Choice 15 Stone Sealer sitting there.

Yesterday I had to seal my shower
I opened a new one. Instead of looking like "clear" water it has this
brownish color, you know sort of like rusted a bit. Not very brown,
sort of
"hard water brown".

I then started to think does these things expires? It has no

expiration

date on it, but may be it can change chemically over time.

Was the bottle 'sealed' well? Pun intended, but obviously the top
should have been on tight.

The stuff's water based. I'm no chemist but according to AM it should
have appearance of straw yellow. Stored properly it should last for a
long time. Shake well before use. I've never seen an expiration date
on the bottles.

PS, Everything I've read about sealer(s) shelf life is 1 year in an
unopened container.

OK here is the mystery...after I put on my glasses...don't laugh...on the
bottom it says "Last Up To 15 Years!". Now I assume it does not mean the
sealer after being applied to the grout can last up to 15 years? It
recommends resealing every six months or so. So does it mean the sealer
can last up to 15 years in the bottle? Does not jive with your one year
shelf life comment. I am confused.

Coverage: Approximately 400 to 1,500 sq. ft. per coat per gallon,
depending on type of stone, porosity and texture of surface,
temperature, humidity and method of application.

Expected Wear: Will vary depending on hardness and texture of surface,
type of area, surface wear, frequency and type of maintenance products
used. Expected wear is up to 15 years. Extreme weather conditions, harsh
cleaning methods and high-alkaline or solvent-based cleaners will affect
wear.
