I'll assume you mean UF, you don't clamp wires inside boxes connected to
conduit. You do however connect ground wires to the green ground screw that
came with the box

Hello:

Will be putting up a floodlight on side of house.

Planning on using solvent welded electrical PVC pipe fittings.

Also, a Red Dot AL outdoor box at each end of the PVC run along the
outside house siding.

Haven't decided yet, but will probably run NF cable inside the PVC, or
possibly individual strands of
TH or THW wire.

Question: would like to clamp the wires (whatever type I use) that run
thru the PVC inside of, or to, the Red Dot metal boxes.

How is this possible with PVC screw fittings going ito the box ? The
typical box clamps for NM wire won't work, and I've never seen a PVC wire
clamp that would mesh with the AL boxes.

Is clamping in this type of configuration a Code requirement ? If so, How
might it be done ?

Sure can't see a method of doing it, though.

Any thoughts on ?

Thanks,
Bob
