Is it possible to make a wall wart cord longer by splicing the
appropriate size wire into it? If so what size wire would I use? I
want to make it about 5 or 6 feet longer.

If your wall wart uses a standard and easily available connector, you may
consider making an extension cable rather than splicing in more wire.
The biggest advantage you have with the extension cable is the ability to
take it off.

Old computers are getting to be a lost art. Here at Uncreative Labs, we
still enjoy using the old computers. Sometimes we want to see how far a
particular system can go, other times we use a stock system to remind
ourselves of what we once had.
