It does say it's "chrome plated & hand built in the UK". Even so, it
does seem a bit excessive for a shower curtain rail.

How does one hand-build a tube, I wonder? Now if it was hand-drawn from red
'ot steel and then hand-formed into a perfect tube I'd be impressed.
